Roulette is one of the most popular games in casinos. It is considered as an excellent way of gambling and is played by both the young and the old. The first Roulette was invented in 1690 and it was developed by the Balard brothers, in Paris. Roulette is played on a number of wheels, referred to as the Roulette wheel. There are four suits of the wheel, the Red Wheel, the White Wheel, the Black Wheel, and the Green Wheel. The player that rolls the minimum number of times without hitting any other Roulette wheel is said to be “one” or to have “zero” points.
The Roulette table is divided in such a way that the players can see all the other players present in the game, but not the spins of the wheels. In a standard Roulette game, there are two Roulette tables, called the blinds and the bets. The player sitting in the seat assigned to him/her will start the game by purchasing a red or a black bet amount from the dealer, while others are required to place a bet of their choice from the shoe. The bets are taken by the dealer in a round-robin fashion from all players present in the game.
A new rule is applied when the player finishes the previous bet and wishes to place a new bet. In the old rules, the player would fold their bets to the dealer and take out the money from the shoe before starting the new bet. This means that the bets of the losing players would be transferred to the new bets made by the dealer. However, the new rule makes the new bet payable to the player, in the same manner as the last bet would be. Thus, the bets of the losing player would be transferred to the next column numbers of the wheel.
The game thus comes to an end after a specific number of spins of the roulette wheel. If the player wishes to win, he/she must eliminate all the number in the first column of the wheel, excluding the zero (for the first time players). The player can then place his bet with the dealer before counting the final numbers to get the exact winnings. The game is then ended and the bettors get the payoff that they have put on the line. The person with the most number of wins after the final count becomes the winner of the game.
A new rule has been introduced for Roulette enthusiasts. It states that the player must not bet more than the actual odds. In the old rules, players may bet even if they have bet more than the odds. But since the game requires players to pay more than the odds for each win, players are now required to bet only the actual odds. This rule also applies to the player winning the draw.
As the game progresses, there is the tendency for the players to bet more combinations as the ball lands more numbers in the wheel. Thus, it is inevitable for a person to lose more than the expected amount in most of the repeated bets. The new rule basically prohibits the player from betting more than the actual odds. However, this does not mean that a person cannot double or triple his money in an effort to make a single lucky number.
